1,016 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria

 

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 1,016 new cases of coronavirus.

The cases was spread across 20 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

11 fatalities was also recorded.

Lagos led the park with 434 cases, followed by the FCT that had 155. Plateau had 94, Kaduna had 56, Rivers recorded 56, Oyo recorded 30 and
Nasarawa had 27. Others are Zamfara – 25, Abia – 22, Enugu – 18, Kano – 18, Bayelsa – 15, Edo – 14, Ogun – 11, Borno – 10, Ebonyi – 10, Jigawa – 7, Anambra – 4, Delta – 3, Niger – 3 and Osun – 3.

Nigeria has now recorded 86,576 confirmed cases,
73,322 of these have been discharged and
1,278 deaths have been recorded.
