Atiku sell Intels shares – spokesperson

Former Vice President and Co-founder of Integrated Logistics Services (INTELS) Atiku has sold off the shares he held of the company.

Paul Ibe, his spokesperson in a statement issued on Monday, quoted Atiku as saying that Buhari was preoccupied with destroying the business since 2015.

“Co-founder of Integrated Logistics Services Nigeria Limited (Intels), Atiku Abubakar, has been selling his shares in Intels over the years.

“It assumed greater urgency in the last five years, because this Government has been preoccupied with destroying a legitimate business that was employing thousands of Nigerians because of politics.

“He has sold his shares in Intels and redirected his investment to other sectors of the economy for returns and creation of jobs.”

Intels have had runnings with the Buhari government.
In 2017, the FG cancelled the pilotage agreement Intels signed with it after the Attorney General, Abubakar Malami said it breached the constitution.
