The National Identity Number (NIN) registration currently ongoing in different states of the country is in jeopardy as staff of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) started a strike.
Hundreds of persons who had turn up to register were left stranded as workers didn’t attend to them.
ChannelsTV reports that workers said the strike was to demand for better welfare from the Federal government.
They demanded for protection against COVID-19 as there was an upsurge in the number of persons they attend to.
They vowed to continue untill their demands are met.
