Super League Operation: The phase of its suspension

The European super League (ESL) commonly known as Super League was organized by the European League company. It was a proposed annual League competition to be contested by twenty European football clubs.

The league conceived to comprise of fifteen founding clubs, being permanent participants in the competition and governing part; along side five other European clubs who could qualify based upon their performance in their domestic league clubs in most recent season.

The announcement of the Super League received almost universal disposition among fans, players, politicians; as well as FIFA, UEFA and more.

Much of the criticism against ESL centered on elitism and lack of competition leading to participants withdrawal from the competition.

Super League subsequently announced they would reconsider most of the appropriate steps to reshape the project following the departure of each clubs.

Three days after being officially announced, the Super League had since suspended it’s operations.
